SALES ASSOCIATE

Since 1993, Norfolk Homes has proudly built homes and communities with unique character, design and high quality. Our New Home Sales Associates serve the following areas: Washtenaw, Jackson and Livingston Counties. This role requires enthusiastic, detail oriented, and motivated individuals who are ready and willing to learn and grow.

Job duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
• Demonstrate knowledge of Norfolk Homes floor plans and new home construction
• Obtain new customers through networking, referrals and real estate agents
• Present and maintain model home
• Maintain knowledge of local markets and competition
• Work closely with the Project Manager in your community

Qualifications:
• Direct sales experience (new home sales and local real estate experience a plus)
• Appropriate real estate license as required by state or willingness to follow the necessary steps to attain in a timely manner
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Comfortable with the use of computers and technology
• Must be available to work weekends and some evenings
• Professional appearance

Since 1993, Norfolk Homes has proudly built homes and communities with unique character, design and high quality. We are currently seeking a Project Manager/ Field Superintendent for communities in Washtenaw and Livingston Counties. This growth position requires a self-motivated, knowledgeable and professional individual.

Responsibilities & Expectations include, but are not limited to:
• Manage single and multi-family construction home sites
• Coordinate and supervise subcontractors, suppliers, and municipality officials
• Meet with customers throughout building process
• Communicate and work with onsite sales agents
• Review budgets throughout building process including prior to project start
• Updating and managing construction schedules
• Review and approve purchase orders and invoices
• Obtain building permits and comply with local building requirements
• Determine resource needs and allocate as necessary
• Tour houses daily to insure work is being completed in a timely manner and in accordance with quality standards
• Manage all warranty issues
• Represent Company in a professional and positive manner in all communications with subcontractors and home buyers


Qualifications:
• Five years of managerial experience related to residential construction
• Analytical and problem solving skills
• Strong organizational and people skills
• Positive history of leadership and increased job responsibility
• Comfortable with the use of computers and technology
• MI Residential Builder License
